The Trocadero model is crafted from a recycled bio-sourced M49 acetate, developed by Mazzucchelli. This acetate is bio-sourced and recycled, durable and stable over time, pleasant to the touch and to wear. It results in frames that are more comfortable, more stable and better tolerated day to day, while limiting the environmental impact of the materials used. Certain colours were developed by the manufacturer specifically for Solamor.
Discreetly set into the temple tip, the Trocadero model carries the house emblem dating back to 1946: the Solamor eye. Inlaid on the temple tip or engraved directly at the end of the sleeve depending on the model, this detail is not an ornament: it is a signature. One that reflects a standard of craftsmanship that holds true even in the corners the eye doesn't always look for.
Every Solamor model features the Flat Temple System, a patented system unique to the brand. This mechanism allows the temples to close perfectly flat, with precise overlap, without placing any tension on the frame or the lenses. No unnecessary mechanical strain, no deformation over time.
