Titanium, at the heart of the design
Solamor frames are all made of titanium, depending on the model. This material was chosen for its essential qualities in eyewear: lightness, long-term stability, resistance to deformation, and extended comfort when worn. Titanium allows for thin lines and a balanced structure without compromising on strength.
M49 bio-based acetate
For combination or acetate models, Solamor uses recycled M49 bio-acetate, developed by Mazzucchelli.
This bio-sourced and recycled acetate is durable and stable over time, pleasant to the touch and to wear. It allows for frames that are more comfortable, more stable, and better tolerated in everyday use, while limiting the environmental impact of the materials used.
Some colors were developed by the manufacturer specifically for Solamor.
Patented frames
All Solamor models incorporate the Flat Temple System, a patented system unique to the brand. This system allows for perfectly flat temple closure, with precise overlap, without exerting tension on the frame or lenses. No unnecessary mechanical stress, no deformation over time. This innovation embodies Solamor's exacting standards: controlled elegance in every detail, serving lasting comfort and perfect stability.
